Do you need a new Water Heater?
One thing most of us take for granted is our Water Heater. It is one household appliance we just don't give that much thought to. Unlike our stove, which must be top of the line, our Water Heater is typically never on our mind. When our stove breaks, we simply use our microwave. When our Water Heater breaks, we have no other in home option.
It is a good rule of thumb to do a quick inspection of your Water Heater monthly. This is a simple do-it-yourself task that shouldn't take more than a minute. First take a look at the ring around the top and bottom of your Water Heater. Do you see any rust spots or rust lines? If you do you may want to give us a call. Look at the cooper lines connected to the unit. If you see any sign of a drip, calcium or a lot of green you may have an issue. If your Water Heater is more than 10 years old replacing it may also be a good idea.
If your Water Heater is only a few years old but you don't have hot water, you can likely have it repaired. Although Water Heater replacement is much less expensive than needing a new HVAC unit, and even much less than most refrigerators, it's still better to repair when possible.
Please give us a call anytime if you have any questions or concerns. We are always here to help!
